Meet Your Officiant
After being asked to officiate multiple weddings for family and friends, I decided that I wanted to offer my personalized wedding ceremony services to anyone getting married in Metro Detroit. I work in education, and caring for others is at the heart of my educational philosophy. During the school day, my focus is the well-being of our students and staff. Outside of the school day, my passion is creating a personalized wedding for you and your significant other. I have an English degree, and the personalization of your ceremony is a craft that I take great pride in.
I am a non-denominational, mobile officiant. This means that I will come to the wedding venue that you choose for your big day. I specialize in wedding elopements, full wedding ceremonies, vow renewal ceremonies, civil ceremonies, and commitment ceremonies. Your vision for your special day is what I will deliver.

My journey as a wedding officiant began when my cousin asked me to officiate her wedding. What started as a meaningful favor quickly became something much more. I realized how much I loved helping couples create one of the most important moments of their lives.
Since that first ceremony, I’ve had the honor of officiating nearly 100 weddings, each one unique and special in its own way. While Barranca Wedding Officiants is a business, I truly see it as far more than that. Being asked to officiate a wedding is a privilege, and I take great pride in helping couples create a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful, and completely stress-free.
Having planned my own wedding in November 2015, I understand firsthand how important it is to have the right officiant guiding the ceremony. The ceremony sets the tone for the entire day, and my goal is to help you feel confident, comfortable, and excited as you walk into that moment.
Some people dream about their wedding day from the time they are young. Others begin imagining it when they meet the person they want to spend their life with. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, my goal as your officiant is simple: to help create a ceremony that reflects both of your visions and celebrates the story that brought you together.
